Greensburg, Indiana- Private Residence
January 21st, 2006

On a recent Saturday night Hoosier Paranormal was asked to investigate a private residence in Greensburg Indiana. The client told us that the large, two-story farmhouse had been built at the turn of the century. She had lived in the house with her parents as a child and had re-purchased the home 13 years ago. Our client believes that 4 spirits, one of whom is a relative, inhabit the home. There also used to be a 5th spirit who our client said was quite mean at times until she had a psychic cleansing of the house done last fall. Now it seems this spirit has gone away. Our client and family and friends have experienced things such as being grabbed by something unseen, pictures falling off of walls, TV changing channels by themselves, trouble sleeping and pets acting strangely. Our client does not feel threatened by the remaining spirits just occasionally bothered. Investigators present included Shanon, Greg, Robert, and Kenny. Equipment used was Video, digital cameras, 35 mm cameras, voice recorders, EMF detectors and temperature devices. We seemed to have technical difficulties all night. Although most electrical items such as cordless phones and computers were turned off and unplugged we still had interference with the equipment. We do not believe this to be paranormal related but rather 100- year old wiring related. We still managed to take more than 5 hrs. of video and well over 200 pictures. Findings: At 3:27am Robert caught what we believe to be an orb on his Sony night-vision video camera. The orb definitely had a flight path of its own, coming down at a 45-degree angle just inside a doorway towards the floor before circling and going back towards the ceiling. This was captured in one of the most active rooms upstairs.  At 3:57am Greg recorded an EVP in a child’s bedroom downstairs. Greg was the only one present in the room and asked, “Can you say your name?” and is immediately met with the answer of “Marv”. Our client later told us that she has no recollection of anyone named Marvin but she is going to being doing some research on the history of the house and see if that name turns up somewhere. At 4:17am a second EVP is recorded in the same room except this time the room is empty and shut off. We are not exactly sure what it say’s but it may be close to “help move on”. It seems to be the same male voice that was recorded in the first EVP. Conclusion: Hoosier Paranormal believes that a 2nd investigation of this house is needed. While we found evidence of some paranormal activity we had no feelings of uneasiness or any other phenomena occur to us while we were there. We believe that on this night 1 spirit, named Marv, made his presence known to us and the rest were very quite. On a return trip to this residence two weeks later we setup cameras in the same locations and a video camera in the living room we turned off the furnace to eliminate dust and left the house. After we returned gathered the equipment and went home. On reviewing the latest evidence we saw an anomaly in the video in the living room. See the video clip below.
