Paranormal was asked to investigate this home because the client was
experiencing what they believed to be spirit activity. One person
observed an apparition sitting at the kitchen table and another person
also witnessed one sitting in a chair in front of a computer. They had
also had a strange occurrence where the screws from the entryway
threshold trim had been removed while nobody was home. The family had
placed a bible on the top of the entertainment center (opened to the
23rd Psalm) that had the pages torn and faded. One occupant reported
that she had been touched on the leg by something unseen once. Also
they were experiencing some odors of cologne from the living room and
had heard glass breaking from time to time. The house was built in the
early 1960’s and had one former resident that had died on the
outside property.
Investigators present this night were Greg, Kenny, Robert, and Shanon.
It was a chilly night with about a half-moon. Equipment used was
digital cameras, voice recorders, EMF meters, temperatures devices, and
infrared video cameras including a Sony night-shot camera. No unusual
EMF readings or temperatures were recorded during the initial sweep of
the house.
During the investigation Shanon got an unusual feeling in one of the
rooms where some activity was reported. We also heard some unexplained
noises throughout the residence. A total of 5 hours of video and audio
each were recorded.
Findings: We did not capture any unusual pictures. There were lots of
reflective surfaces in the house and picture taking was difficult. We
recorded a couple of the strange noises but we believe them most of
them to be natural sound from the house. We did record one noise, which
sounded like an empty cup falling into a sink and rattling around. We
were never able to locate the cause of the noise. We did record a video
of an dust Orb floating into a room.
Conclusion: Hoosier Paranormal was unable to capture any solid evidence
of paranormal activity this night. We decided the video to be
inconclusive as to rather it is a true orb or dust. Tonight it was
apparent that whatever or whoever is there was not willing to make
their presence known to us.
Debunked: The Bible
was located on the top of the entertainment center directly in front of
an East-facing window. Also the family cat lies on top of the center
and looks out the window so we believe that direct sunlight has caused
the fading and the cat has been the cause of the torn pages. |
