Paranormal was contacted to investigate a 150 year-old house. It was a
beautiful Greek revival built in 1850. According to our client they had
experienced doors slamming shut on their own, voices could be heard,
and a few cold spots were showing up in the house. The previous owners
had a family tragedy when a child had died, however it was not in the
home.
Investigators present were Shanon, Greg, Robert, and Kenny. It was a
full moon. Equipment used included our normal items like Video and
Digital Audio Recorders, EMF meters, temperature devices, and digital
cameras. Lots of natural high EMF readings were recorded on the initial
sweep of the house. No unusual cold spots were recorded.
During the investigation none of us felt any thing unusual. We did keep
hearing one particular noise but it was explained as coming from the
furnace. We recorded a total of about 15 hrs. of video and audio.
Findings: No unusual sounds were recorded. Our pictures and video
showed lots of dust particles. Shanon did snap a picture of a cool
looking dust orb on the staircase.
Conclusion: Hoosier Paranormal was unable to find an explanation of the
doors slamming shut, however on this night there was no evidence of any
paranormal activity-taking place. If any unusual things happen in the
future we would be glad to do a follow up investigation. |
