Seymour, Indiana- Private Residence

A couple that is having some unexplained things going on in their home contacted Hoosier Paranormal. It is a 1930’s Art Deco cottage that they have been doing restoration work on. Some of the things they have experienced include seeing shadows, footsteps, objects being moved on their own, voices, and the sounds of a dresser being dragged across the floor upstairs. They had done some research on the history of the home and believe that possibly one former owner died in the house, but they cannot confirm this for sure. The night we were there it was warm with a full moon. Investigators present were Kenny, Shanon, Greg and Robert. Equipment used included Voice recorders, hard-wired cameras, digital cameras, Sony night-shot video camera, EMF detectors, and temperature devices. We recorded a total of about 15 hrs. Of audio and video. As our investigation began Robert checked on his Sony camera and found it to be completely drained of charge. He knows for sure that it should have been fully charged and ready to go. Also we had many personal experiences happen to us during the investigation. Kenny’s digital camera malfunctioned and while he was sitting in a bedroom in the basement something tugged at the bedspread. All four of us saw shadows throughout the residence and felt feelings of being watched and had crept out feelings. Findings: We measured no unusual EMF spikes or temperature readings. Also we recorded nothing on video. Our pictures did not reveal anything. We did manage to record a sound of something being dragged across the floor upstairs. We believe this to be the sound the owners describe as  a dresser being dragged across the floor. Sounds like a motor or something. We could not find the source. Conclusion: Hoosier Paranormal experienced a lot of the same things that the owners had been. Although we did not capture hard evidence of anything we do believe this home to be an active place for the paranormal.
