Founder/Investigator
Greg’s
interest in the
paranormal began in mid 90’s in a previously owned house that
had some unexplained events. Hearing footsteps in the next
room while being alone. Greg would also come home to find the attic
door open for no reason. Although Greg never felt
threatened, it did peak his interest in the paranormal. |

Robert Wilson

Founder/Investigator
Robert’s interest in
the paranormal was not from experiencing events but from reading books
and
researching people's stories of the supernatural.
Robert realizes the commonalities of these strange events
occurring in people’s lives. Examples of these are
cold
spots, nighttime activities, EVP’s and orbs. Although more
recently, he encountered a partial apparition at the Crown Hill
Cemetery in Indianapolis during a tour.

Founder/Investigator
Kenny’s
interest in the paranormal began in 1990 when he was living with his
parents and saw the apparition of a well-dressed older gentleman, in
'30s or '40s period clothing with a fedora hat, setting in the chair
across from him. Although this only happened to Kenny once,
it
was very unnerving for him. Coincidentally, this occurred about 2 weeks
before the passing of his Grandmother. Kenny was curious to
find
out more about the paranormal. |

Founder/Investigator
Shanon’s interest in the
paranormal began in his first home back in the early
90’s. Items would continually come up missing,
clocks starting and stopping without explanation, strange
behavior from pets and even occasionally seeing a shadow of a small
child out of the corner of his eye. Shanon believes
it was a harmless but mischievous spirit. |

Elisa Walter |
Investigator/Research
In
1992, Elisa
experienced a prolonged series of paranormal events in
the apartment she was living in. Those were her most profound
experiences
to date, however, she has been attracted to all things paranormal all
her
life. She also was blessed with a visitation from her mother several
days
after her death in 2000. For her, it's about evidence of the existence
of the soul after bodily death. She's been with Hoosier Paranormal
Research since 2007. |

Joe Merchant

Investigator/PR
Joe’s
interest began about six years ago while living with a friend at his
grandparent’s old farm house. One night, he was awakened by a
sound in the kitchen. Assuming it was his roommate,
he’d
gone back to sleep. When they got up the next morning, they
found
all the cabinet doors open in the kitchen. Joe blamed his
roommate, thinking he was playing a joke. After confronting
him
about it, his roommate immediately said, “That was a pretty
good
joke that you played on me this morning!”, thinking it was
Joe. Joe asked his roommate if he had heard the noise. After
his
“yes” reply, they realized they were victims of
more than
just a prank. Joe joined HPR in 2007 to surround himself with
those who seek to explain the unexplainable and to hopefully see a full
body apparition.

Ricky joined up with
Hoosier Paranormal in 2010. He loves investigating, going over evidence
and is a great asset to the group.

Scot Morgan |
Investigator
Meet Scot! He has not had any direct paranormal
encounters himself. His interest in the paranormal stems from the
data collection and wondering why we can't seem to find a reliably,
consistent way to capture evidence. "I believe the evidence is out
there to be captured, we just have not found a way to do it on a
consistent basis. If even 1/10 of 1% of the paranormal stories is
true then the evidence should be able to be collected in a repeatable
way." His motivation to find new and unique ways of getting proof of
activity drives him to wonder if a combination of old symbology
and new technology will be the key to unlocking the secret of
evidence collection.

Bill Cline |
Bill’s interest in
the paranormal started after having his own experience in the late
70’s. The night his grandmother passed away, he was at her house
for a visit. She was not able to walk, and one of her big concerns was
that the upstairs part of house was not clean. It was about 11pm when
the sound of her pet dog woke up everybody in the house. We got up to
see the front door open and close. Her dog was barking and wagging his
tail as if he was happy to see someone. They watched as the dog walked
upstairs and into her bedroom. Once he got to her room he laid on a
blanket that she had made for the dog that she adored. Her big concern
was that the upstairs was not clean enough, and that she came back to
make sure. After that, Bill started to read and find as much
information as he could. Bill is a strong believer that the
energy a person has does not stop just because they pass. |
